The Ridley Arms, Morpeth a family friendly place to eat. Our Review

We visited the Ridley Arms back in early December and I am finally getting around to catching up on all of those reviews I wanted to do.

We stumbled across the Ridley Arms while we were out in Northumberland and we did drive past at first, but then decided to head back, I am so glad that we did.

The Ridley Arms is a gorgeous traditional country pub with all of the home comforts and traditional décor. The roaring fire was a big help because it was freezing on the day of our visit. We hadn't booked so I wasn't hopeful of getting a table because it was fairly busy but we were kindly greeted by the staff and shown to a table, right next to the fire.

What we ordered..

1 Kids sausage and mash which comes with Ice Cream£7.95

2 steak burgers with fries and slaw £12.95 each.

Breaded Whitby Scampi with chunky chips £12.95

Traditional Beer Battered fish with chunky chips £12.95

2 blood orange cheesecakes with choc truffle £7.95 each

1 choc brownie with winter berries and Chantilly cream £7.95

1 spiced apple panko crumble £7.95

10 cokes which came to £22.50

Honestly, it was absolutely delicious and we could not fault the food one bit. All 3 boys scoffed the lot, which really is high praise! The Blood Orange chocolate truffle cheesecake was my favourite.

The only issue we had was, by the time we left, we all struggled o walk as we were so full!
