I have put together a list of what I think are the top 10 destinations to visit at Christmas time. USA – New York If New York know how to do something big then it is Christmas, a setting in so many movies, buildings lit up with the most amazing lights and one huge Christmas tree surrounded by Ice skaters. Pop up markets and the smells of festive foods will make you want to stay forever.
Germany – BerlinIf it’s Christmas markets you are looking for then look no further You’ll be spoilt for choice when looking for Christmas markets in Berlin. The smells, the sights and the atmosphere make it extra festive.
Canada – Quebec Old Québec is transformed into a real Christmas village, just like out of Charles Dickens’ novel ights, decorations, and snow create an enchanting setting like no other within Old Quebec
Australia – SydneyIt is summer time in Australia when it’s Christmas time, so the best place to spend Christmas day is at the beach having a BBQ with your family and friends. So if you are looking to get away from the cold then I would suggest Australia.
USA – Chicago Christmas in Chicago is truly unforgettable, Chicago would be my number one choice for families especially with young children. Between Thanksgiving and the New year is filled with heartfelt traditions, from tree-lighting ceremonies to wreathings and department store window displays
Finland – Lapland The ultimate Christmas dream, snow, Santa, Reindeer, Lapland is like a dream. You can choose from some amazing experiences such as a husky sledge ride to just relaxing in the warmth and then a trip to see Santa.
Spain – MalagaIf you enjoy the lights at Christmas time then Malaga is where you need to be. It is one of the prettiest places to visit at Christmas time.
