
I love a great Chai Latte, there is just something about a spiced hot drink that just sets me on my way to a successful day. I have an endless amount of herbal teas in the cupboard from the standard bag variety from the supermarkets to the loose leaf tea. The choice is just vast these days.
Here is how I love to have my chai tea latte.
1 chai Tea bag
155 ml of Cashew milk ( I am lactose intolerant, you can use any milk you wish)
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1 cinnamon stick
Pinch of nutmeg
Pinch of ginger
Method
Put the bag into your favourite mug
Half fill the mug with boiling water (Please be careful)
Let it steep for around 2 minutes
Put the milk,Vanilla and cinnamon stick into a pan on a medium heat until it starts to simmer
Remove the cinnamon stick and whisk the milk.
Add to your mug
Sprinkle on the Nutmeg and Ginger
You can get creative with cream and make fancy patterns if you want to.
