WE VISITED THE WORLD'S LONGEST, INDOOR, 18 HOLE, MINI GOLF,
Holey molies, in Skelton, offers a fun, 18 hole mini golf course, as well as a bar restaurant, with good quality, great value food.
This is not your average mini golf. The place is huge and some of the holes even cover various floors. We had a great time and some of the holes were really well thought out. There's a mix of fairly easy holes and some that are just impossible but you have a good laugh trying anyway. I will be honest, when I looked this place up some of the photos online didn't make it look the best however we still went so we could judge it ourselves. It is so much better than the photos online make it look. On our last visit there was 4 of us and it took around an hour and a half to complete the course. Its not the most expensive one we have been too and is a great option for people looking for things to do in the area.
The only downside was the parking. Its on road parking which is limited. There is a car park across the road with a camera but no signs on how to pay, when I looked this up I've seen nothing but bad things so we parked a bit further down the road and just walked up.
As well as a round of golf, we also sampled the food.
The restaurant is quite large and has big family sized tables. The menu has quite a lot to choose from and the prices were not too bad.
We chose..
The Captain America Burger - Cheeseburger with onions
The Thor Burger - Patty, sausage, Bacon
The Iron Man Burger - Parmo Burger
A Large Parmo (Large doesn't come close!) Craig couldn't finish it.
Meals came with a choice or Fries or chips.
All of the food tasted great and the portions were very generous.
I found the prices to be pretty reasonable. We spent just over 3 hours here and spent just over £70, which covered 4 huge meals, 4 large soft drinks and a round of golf.
