Family friendly festivals you must visit in the UK 2019

Updated: Apr 25, 2020

2019 has seen the rise in festivals in the UK with so many to choose from. It’s not always easy looking for the right festival to attend, but when you have children it is even harder. We like to make sure the festivals we attend are family friendly, and by family friendly we don’t just mean a bouncy castle shoved in the corner (Yes really this happens). I don’t want to take my kids to a festival that claims to be family friendly, you get there and it’s full of teenagers smoking weed and drinking liver damage amounts of alcohol. We have been to a few festivals that claimed to be family friendly when in all honesty they probably weren’t even teenage friendly. So to save you the hassle I have made a list of the best family friendly festivals taking place across the UK in 2019. Green Man Festival– Powys- 15th-18th AugustGreen Man Festival is without a doubt the ultimate family friendly festival, it is the one that I instantly think of when someone asks me to recommend a good family event. With lots of areas packed with activities for all ages, woodland wandering and great music in the best atmosphere. WILDHOOD Festival – Tullibole Castle 2019 sees WILDHOOD in its second year, with so many great reviews this festival is a must for little ones. From wand making to Forest School.
