Breakfast with Santa at The Amble Inn

(AD) Our writer Chloe had a fantastic Breakfast with Santa at The Amble Inn. Find out below what they thought

''If you’re looking for Santa straight out of a movie, The Amble Inn have found him and

oh, he was fantastic. He is the closest we have ever seen with such a striking

resemblance to Richard Attenbourgh from The Miracle on 34 th Street.

We thoroughly enjoyed our morning at breakfast with Santa. We unfortunately

missed the start so when we arrived the man of the hour was already sitting with

some families. We swiftly sat down, and the girls were given an activity pack full of

games and colouring sheets. It also included a letter which they had to fill in before

Santa came around.

Shortly after they had finished their letters it was our turn for Santa to come and visit our table with his head elf. We had around 5 minutes with them during which they both took time to speak to us all, reading the children’s letters, and finding out a little about each child mesmerising them the whole time.

Santa himself was great company and made the children feel very excited for

Christmas day. He had a fantastic warm demeanour and made everyone at ease.

Once Santa had left, we managed to sample the last of the food that was on offer.

Despite not all eating, what we did have was lovely. There was a great choice of full

English for the adults set out as a buffet and the same was available for the children.

There was also a continental section which had pancakes, waffles, sweet pastries

and cereal. There was also fresh fruit juice and tea and coffee available on a help

yourself basis.

After Santa had been around all the tables and spent time with each family, we were

all given the opportunity to have a photograph with him and his helpful elf who was

equally as magical. Each child was given a present (Blake age 5 - a colouring

calendar) and (Thea age 1 - soft toy). It really was a lovely keep sake picture by the

Christmas tree with a roaring fire beside us. These little touches making it feel

magical for the parents and children alike.

The venue itself is in a great location and very easy to find with a lot of spaces

making getting children in and out of the car very easy without the usual tight

restrictions of a car park. The restaurant was very clean and the staff were very

friendly upon arrival.''

We are so glad they all enjoyed it. I am jealous that my kids are too old for Santa these days as it sounds like the whole family had a fantastic time.
